About:

FSIPD combines technical, business, and soft skills to drive collaborative product development, from ideation to market launch. This structured approach emphasizes cross-functional teamwork, customer-centric design, and quality-driven processes to ensure products meet customer needs and are delivered on time.

Objectives:

The objectives for students in the Foundation Skills in Integrated Product Development course are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of product development processes and prepare them for industry roles. Understand global trends and development methodologies for various types of products and services.

  1. Conceptualize, prototype, and develop a product management plan for a new product, integrating hardware, software, controls, electronics, and mechanical systems.
  2. Master requirement engineering to collect, analyze, and convert requirements into design specifications.
  3. Develop documentation, test specifications, and coordinate with various teams to validate and sustain the product up to End of Life (EoL) support activities.
  4. Gain knowledge of the Innovation & Product Development process in the business context.
  5. Work independently as well as in teams to solve specific problems and manage projects from start to finish.
