The Center of Excellence in Cybersecurity at East Point College of Engineering and Technology (EPCET), Bengaluru, is a dedicated hub for advancing cybersecurity education, research, and innovation. Established in collaboration with Quantum Learnings, a renowned leader in cybersecurity training, the center aims to equip students and faculty with the knowledge and skills necessary to address modern cybersecurity challenges. Through specialized certifications, workshops, webinars, and hands-on training, the center provides exposure to real-world scenarios, fostering industry-ready talent.

On February 12, 2024, EPCET renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Quantum Learnings, extending their collaboration until February 11, 2027. This partnership, which began in 2021, continues to focus on providing cutting-edge learning experiences and fostering a community of cybersecurity experts. The renewal was marked by a visit from Mr. Tushar Jethani, Co-Founder of Quantum Learnings, who presented the latest certifications, workshops, and webinars to EPCET's faculty and leadership, reinforcing the shared commitment to excellence in education and innovation.

Cybersecurity projects are undertaken by final-year students each academic year under the expert guidance of Quantum Learnings. These projects provide students with opportunities to explore emerging technologies and develop innovative solutions. The cybersecurity lab at the center is equipped with advanced software such as Kali Linux and other open-source tools, benefiting both students and faculty. Faculty members pursuing PhDs in the cybersecurity domain also utilize these resources for research and practical implementation.

Quantum Learnings has further enriched the center’s offerings by providing students with Microsoft Certifications on Ethical Hacking, enhancing their credentials and preparing them for global career opportunities. Beyond cybersecurity, Quantum Learnings also supports Data Analytics, AI & ML, and IoT projects, enabling students from all departments to gain expertise in these in-demand fields
