AICTE and UGC made a policy decision that all higher educational institutes have to establish an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to maintain the momentum of quality consequences. It adopts a mechanism to build and ensure a quality culture at the institutional level by planning, guiding, and maintaining Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Enhancement (QE) activities of the institution.

The IQAC is committed to excellence and innovation in curriculum, learning, teaching, and R&D activities. It is an integral part of the academic activities towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement by developing a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in different aspects of the functioning of the Institution. The IQAC assures accountability and transparency in the quality management system to all stakeholders of the Institution. The IQAC at institution assures that the stakeholders – students, parents, teachers, staff, management and society in general intersects mutual views for the accountability and transparency in the quality management system of the institution.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell is a step towards excellence. The IQAC of EPCET organizes various programmes for faculty, administrative staff and quality circle members. It conducts staff assessment to provide valuable feedback for quality sustenance and improvement in teaching, learning and research experiences in the Institution. It documents and reports various activities of the Institution for various higher education requirements. A continuous follow up has been made on infrastructural resources of the college to assure adequate, appropriate and better facilities to assure conducive and enabling environment for teaching, learning and research by regular audits. Through all these measures IQAC happens to be one of the important components of the college which ensures quality and continuous improvement in all the aspects of the Institution. It conducts unremitting staff appraisal to endow with valued feedback for class sustenance and advanced teaching, learning and research experiences.
