It’s heartening that “East Point Group of Institutions” has come of age and I am immensely happy to share that our East Point College of Engineering and Technology (EPCET) will be celebrating its “Silver Jubilee” during the year 2024. Our medical college has admitted its 5th batch of students and it is all set for launching PG courses in medicine. We started our “M G Charitable Trust” in the year 1997, with the motive of establishing educational institutions to serve the public by providing education. We established “East Point School” in the year 1997 and our EPCET in the year 1999. Since 1999, we have established 13 institutions including a medical college and a 1200 bedded East Point Hospital. Barring 3 institutions, all other institutions are located on a sprawling “Jnanaprabha Campus” at Bidarahalli, off Old Madras Road and today there are around 7000 students on roll in these institutions.

My beloved husband, late “Dr. S M Venkatpathi” tirelessly worked to realize the vision we had, i.e., “East Point Group of Institutions aim at building a Better World and a Better Mankind by imparting quality education through the learned academic fraternity who have dedicated themselves to the motto of Education + Humanity”.
