Department of Training and Placement at East Point Group of Institutions (EPGI) gives high priority to the importance of training and mentoring for every individual. Prof. Dhananjay Kumar, an able professional with 10+ years of academic and industry experience heads the department of Training & Placement at EPGI. It is the outcome of department’s continuous effort that college has 200+ such noble clients for whom EPGIT is a preferred college for all their Placement requirements. Each and every student of the college is given equal and ample support towards: Industrial trainings, Internships, Final Placements and Entrepreneurial mentoring. Campus placement is organized at college level throughout the year so that maximum number of students get placed. Training and Placement Cell also guides the students for higher studies. All the students of EPGI are trained on Basic English, Quantitative Aptitude, Soft skills and Technical skills right from 2nd Year level. Selection of the topics and methodology of training delivery is done by the mutual concern of: Industry experts, College experts (Management & Principal), Heads of the Department, Alumni along with T&P cell, thereby enabling us to choose the best training for the students. Department specific technical trainings are catered to the students to improve their career opportunities in their respective fields.

Department of Training and Placement emphasises in inculcating both attitude and aptitude in students, encourage them for hands on trainings, soft skills development and motivate them to incorporate relevant certification programmes by providing them the best infrastructure support, state of art laboratories, interaction with industry experts, motivational sessions etc.At East Point, once the placement season commences, one can feel the vibrant environment, energy level of students on the campus. Department manages to get many reputed MNCs on campus thus places the eligible students of final year before they step out of the college. AWS Job Fair in East Point

On 23rd of September 2022 East Point College conducted a Job Fair for Engineering students. 12 Companies have participated in the Job Fair, over all 700 students participated in the event. Around 66 HR s from different companies came to our college for recruiting students. The companies which were invited to the fair, included Persistent, Genpact, Netapp, Cloud Kinetics, Credit Saison, Netwest Bank, Broadridge, Minify, Tech system, NTS, Comprinno. Job seekers use this opportunity to stand out from other applicants and get an overview of what it is like to work for a company or a sector that seems interesting to the participant.

Department of Electronics & Communication and Informative Science blocks were arranged for the Interview rooms and students waiting area. There were Reception Committee, Stage Committee, Registration Committee and Hospitality Committee for handling HRs and students.
