DEAN RESEARCH MESSAGE

As part of EPCET Management, we believe in establishing a good Research Eco System and enhance potential Incubations and Research taken up by Students, Faculty and Scholars in the area of Academic & Engineering Entrepreneurships


We support and encourage Research, Entrepreneurship and Incubation Centre. The initiatives to create an ecosystem for innovations by formation of various student clubs for creation and transfer of knowledge. The hidden talents of students will be identified and nurtured through student clubs, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.


The aim is to foresee future problems & respond to current social demands, contribute by Solutions creation, develop technologies with an aim of realizing an affluent society and natural environment for humanity. EPCET aims to create an excellent educational environment, and human resources through frontline research activities.

Establish multistage Incubation Eco System to facilitate:

  1. Incubation Labs for Prototype Development.

  2. IPR Cell, IPR Policy for IPR Filing and Publishing.

  3. Encourage Faculty to involve in Research through Publication Grants/ Awards, Travel Support for Paper Presentations, Conference Fee Reimbursement etc.

  4. Research Policy for Publications & Research Proposals.

  5. Create Incubation Problems Prototypes/ working models

  6. Create Research Problem Statements Repository for Project Proposals

  7. Evaluation mechanism for Project Proposals.

  8. Establish Research Centers to encourage Faculty Research.

Director (R&D) and Senior Professor, having Industrial Research expertise in IT & Computer Science, VLSI fields. A senior professor at the advisory level oversees the smooth and efficient coordination of research and development activities in the institute, thus fostering the overall growth.

Objectives of Research Incubation Cell:

  • Creation of research facilities in-house and in collaboration with other national institutes and laboratories.

  • Identification of research projects for faculty and encourage students

  • Imbibing culture to carry out innovative projects by the students beyond curriculum.

  • Conduct various competitions for students on projects and seminars.

  • Training younger generation teachers with innovative research projects

  • Encouraging faculty & students for publication of research papers in National and International Journals of repute.

  • Encouraging faculty & students to participate in seminars, workshops inside and outside the state.

  • Encourage teachers and students to generate good Patents and IPR.

  • Nurture Faculty and Students for Innovation.

  • Identify students with spark from all departments of EPCET for innovation. Identify faculty who have spark for innovations, who can Mentor and handhold students

  • Bringing Research to class rooms by inviting scientists for interaction with students.
